Smart Process Overview
The machine works on the Venturi Suction principle, but with more than one gun. Each gun blows a stream of compressed air and generates a vacuum, which sucks the abrasive into the airstream from the hopper. More than one gun can be fired at the part from various angles, so more than one surface is being cleaned simultaneously instead of one at a time.
The part sits on a grate or turntable while the guns blast it evenly from their set positions. Excess abrasive falls into the hopper for reuse; dust collection removes fine particles and dust from the area. In a single pass, more of the surface can be cleaned.
