Jinil is a leading manufacturer of shot peening machines in India. Our airless and air-operated systems help metal parts take more load and last longer. We supply Coil Spring, Indexing Hanger Type, Indexing Table Type, and Robotic Type Shot Peening Machines, plus a portable shot peening machine for large parts. We don’t sell one fixed model; we build to suit your part. Share your requirements and get the best quote.
As a shot peening machine manufacturer, we bring 30+ years of combined expertise, 500+ machines delivered, and work across 25+ industries. Design and fabrication both happen in-house, and our engineers check every setup against your drawing. Once the machine reaches your plant, our team takes care of installation, commissioning, spare parts, upgrades, AMCs, and 24/7 support, so your shot peening equipment keeps doing its job.
Smart Process Overview
Inside a Jinil machine, loading comes first. The part goes onto a fixture, table, hanger, or conveyor. Then peening begins, where a blast wheel (airless) or an air nozzle (air-operated) throws round shot at the part. The part keeps turning or moving during peening, so the shot reaches every area that needs it.
To check the work, an Almen strip helps measure peening intensity, and coverage checks help confirm that the required surface areas have been treated.
After peening, used shot is collected, and the broken pieces are removed. The dust collector then draws the fine dust out of the machine.
Engineered Output Parameters
| Parameter | How shot is thrown | Speed control | Power needed | Shot type | Part handling | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Airless (Wheel) Type | Spinning blast wheel | Wheel speed | Electricity | Steel shot or cut wire | Rotary table, hanger or conveyor | High-volume production |
| Air-Operated (Nozzle) Type | Compressed air through a nozzle | Air pressure | Compressed air and electricity | Steel shot, cut wire or ceramic shot | Turntable, manipulator or robot | Complex shapes and specific areas |
As one of the leading Shot Peening Machine Manufacturers in India, Jinil makes both airless and air-operated systems in-house, so our advice depends on your part, not on what we want to sell. As a shot peening machine supplier, we’re with you from the first drawing review right through to after-sales support.
We design and build every machine in our own facility, and this in-house manufacturing is how we get you the right machine fit. Each one is sized to your part, material, and volume. Our quality checks start early, as peening strength and coverage are agreed before we start building. For easy line setup, we plan fixtures, loading, and automation together with your team. Our after-sales care covers spare parts, upgrades, and AMCs
From Enquiry to Installation
We begin with Requirement Analysis, going through your part, drawings, and production goals. After that, in Machine Configuration, we decide on the machine type, handling, and automation. The final stage is Installation and Commissioning, when our team installs the machine, sets it up, and tests it.
There is no fixed Shot Peening Machine Price, as the cost depends on the machine type, component size, part-handling system, and level of automation. We provide a quote based on your actual application.
Industrial Solutions
Jinil’s shot peening machines treat parts that bend, twist, or vibrate while they work. These are some of the common ones, by industry:
Automotive: Springs, gears, crankshafts, connecting rods, axles
Aerospace: Landing gear, turbine discs, structural parts
Railways: Springs, axles and other load-bearing parts
Forging: Forged shafts, gears and heavy parts
Defence: Critical load-bearing components
Heavy Engineering: Welded joints, large shafts and fabricated parts
Industrial Solutions
Parts that face repeated loads are the ones that need shot peening most. We keep the process under control on every machine we set up, and that’s what gives your parts these benefits:
Advanced Engineering Highlights
We build every piece of Jinil shot peening equipment so that the whole part, not just one side, gets the same treatment. Here’s what goes into it:
Machine control, live monitoring, and batch records
Keep shot flow where it should be
Tops up shot on its own when the level falls
For quick strength checks on the shop floor
Less manual handling and faster output
Cuts down machine noise
A shot peening machine fires small, round shot (usually steel) at a metal part. The impacts make the surface stronger, and cracks find it harder to start. Shot blasting cleans a part, but shot peening doesn’t. Its job is to help the part last longer.
A blast wheel or air nozzle throws shot at the part, and the constant hits strengthen the surface layer. On Jinil machines, we check peening strength with Almen strips and check coverage on the part itself.
It’s used on parts that bend, twist, or vibrate in use, such as springs, gears, shafts, axles, and aircraft parts. When a part has to work for a long time, shot peening is worth a look.
A peened part is stronger, cracks less easily, and lasts longer. Peening also replaces the harmful surface stress that machining or welding leaves behind, so you replace parts less often.
It’s a shot peening machine that works from saved settings rather than manual control. Jinil’s automatic machines keep settings for each part, control cycle time and shot flow, and warn the operator if a setting changes.
Shot peening is used in a variety of industries, including heavy engineering, railroads, automobiles, aerospace, and defense. Jinil provides surface treatment equipment to more than 25 industries.
Start with the part, including its material, size, shape, required peening strength, and the area that needs to be peened. Nozzle machines are better for fine work, but wheel machines are great for large volumes. After reviewing your drawing, Jinil's engineers can recommend a machine.
Look at the manufacturer’s experience, technical support, and quality checks. Before you buy, also confirm installation, spare parts, and maintenance. At Jinil, we settle all of this before we start building, so your machine is made for peening from day one.
